*ABOUT TRI-STAR CAMPS!
Whether you are a beginner who wants to learn to ride or an experienced rider who wants to improve your skills, there is a place for you at our Summer Riding Camp! We teach English and Western to our campers, ranging from ages 7 to 14.

1 week sessions are available! We fill our days with horses, friends and fun!

Campers are placed in small riding groups based on their ability and previous riding experience. Our goal is to build each rider’s skills and confidence and enable them to ride safely, as well as correctly. Our small groups allow the instructors to give individualized attention to each rider and allow them to develop at their own pace. While beginner riders may be aided with a leader (if needed), our advanced riders use a variety of tools, including video tap critiques.

We allow and encourage our campers to have hands-on experience in taking care of “their own horse.” Campers work as a team to groom, tack, bathe and care for their horses. While time in the saddle develops riding skills, the barn lessons teach all aspects of horsemanship and appropriate care for their horse. Beginner campers learn about horses; breeds, colors, markings, behaviors and general anatomy. Beginners also learn a variety of barn lessons; grooming, bathing, tacking, untacking, cooling out the horses, etc. Advanced campers continue their education by learning about feeding, shoeing, treating injuries, show preparation and so on.
